Privacy Policy

Enchan Li built the “Calls Blacklist” app as a Commercial app. This Service is provided by Enchan Li and is intended for use as is.

This page informs visitors about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who uses the Service.

If you choose to use the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information we handle is used only to provide and improve the Service. We do not use or share your information except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions for “Calls Blacklist,” unless otherwise defined here.

Information Collection and Use

Our policy is to not collect or transmit your call or contacts data off your device. The Service is designed to be private and secure by processing sensitive data locally on your phone.

Core Service Data (Processed Locally)

To perform call screening and spam filtering, the app must process incoming call information. This processing happens exclusively on your device and is never sent to our servers.

  • Incoming phone numbers: When you receive a call, Android provides the number to our Service for real-time analysis (e.g., checking against your local blacklist). This is processed in memory and not stored unless you enable Call History.
  • Optional Call History: If you enable “Call History,” the app stores recent call logs (number and time) in your device’s private storage.

Your blacklist, whitelist, and call history are stored 100% locally on your device. They never leave your device, are not sent to our servers, and are not accessible to Enchan Li or to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services (for ads and analytics) that may collect information used to identify your device. This collection is done by those providers under their own privacy policies.

Links to their policies:

Log and Diagnostic Data

When you use the Service, in the event of an error the app may send limited diagnostic information to third-party providers (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics). This may include details such as device model, OS version, app configuration at the time of the error, timestamps, and IP address. This information is used solely to diagnose and fix crashes and to improve reliability.

Identifiers and Similar Technologies

The app itself does not set web cookies. However, third-party SDKs (such as AdMob) may use identifiers or similar technologies to operate and improve their services. You can control ad personalization where available via device settings or in-app consent prompts (region-dependent).

Service Providers

We may engage third-party companies and individuals (e.g., ad and analytics providers) to:

  • Facilitate the Service (e.g., display ads);
  • Provide Service-related features; or
  • Help us understand app performance and usage.

These third parties may process limited Personal Information (such as device IDs or IP addresses) to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for other purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data handled by third-party services is retained according to their policies.

Any call data stored locally (e.g., Call History, Blacklist) remains on your device until you delete it.

You can delete this local data at any time using the app’s “Clear History” or “Clear Blacklist” options, or by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this local data.

EEA/UK Users – Consent (if applicable)

Where required by law, we present a consent prompt for ads/analytics. You can change consent choices at any time via the app’s settings (where provided).

Security

We protect your privacy primarily by not collecting your sensitive call data. While we use commercially reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites (e.g., advertisements). These external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, their content, policies, or practices.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been provided, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for changes. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page when updates occur.
